Coming Off Psychiatric Medication


A mindfulness-based or 'awareness' based approach for anyone who wishes to manage a long-term health condition. The course is ten weeks long.

I found this course to provide invaluable resources to help cope with stress and/or illness. Devised by Buddhists, but is and entirely secular course welcoming anyone regardless of race, creed or gender.

It helps train us to lessen and/or overcome our reactions to our illnesses/pain so that we manage our responses to the suffering we experience. This is done by breathing techniques, mindful movement and mindfulness of daily life as we learn to live more in the present moment. Highly recommended.
